An ordinary guy (as opposed to some snooty, academic film critic).
And yes I have studied film studies (and screenwriting and film production) at a world class university - which gives me a soapbox to stand upon.
But I pride myself of being into the movies of the masses and not only the w@nky art house stuff.
Oh, and there will be an inordinate amount of French and German film reviews, but that's because I speak those languages not because I think that New Wave Cinema was the the height of film making.
